- I - Representing the guild
While the guild pursues 100% representation it is not required. We do not believe in mandating loyalty, but inspiring it in our members. That said we do consider ourselves a main guild/community and you will be expected to represent the majority of the time you spend online. So unless you are helping out a friend's guild, managing your personal bank or attending an event with a dedicated guild (like Tequatl, Tri Wurm or PvP & WvW) we do expect TMQ to be your main guild.

Representation habits are watched via the roster and logged by TMQ’s management. We will never whisper you to remind you to represent as we believe representing should be out of loyalty and not by mandating it. If the management notice that you are consistently not representing, we will assume that you are no longer interested in the community and remove you from it.

- II - Activity
As a TMQ guild member we expect you to be an active member of the community. Being an active member includes but is not limited to:
  • participation in guild missions, guild chat, events, etc.
  • contribution to the guild hall's growth
  • an active weekly in-game presence
  • an active weekly website presence

- III - Language
The main language of the TMQ is English. If you need to use a different language in Discord/party chat/etc. to explain that’s fine, but try not to exclude people and keep it in whisper if possible. Please refrain from using derogatory and offensive terms at all times in guild or to other guild members. We understand some terms are used with humor, but a reasonable limit should be recognized through common sense. Appropriate language should be used in all of TMQ’s communication channels.

- IV - Arguments & Respect
TMQ is a home to all kinds of cultures, lifestyles and types of people. Remember that we do not discriminate and expect a level of maturity and respect from all and towards all individuals. Members should avoid inflammatory subjects such as religion and politics to avoid unnecessary conflicts or disputes with any other members. Debates are not encouraged to be held in the guild chat, the forums or in the Discord server. Especially if they have the possibility to offend others.

- V - Guild Chat
Members are expected not to beg or spam guild chat for items/requests. If a player is willing to help another; a sign of gratitude is common sense to show. We also ask that members respond to other guild member's queries or general talk out of politeness. It is appreciated to say greetings, goodbyes and welcomes to other players as well as advising or helping them with anything they may ask. If you do not know the answer or cannot help, please state this, at least out of decency.

- VI - Discord
In order to keep the disturbance to a minimum the TMQ Voice server has multiple rooms with multiple purposes. The main Channel is used as a hub to chat and talk to fellow members and should not be used when grouping up for content. Members should keep this in mind when grouping up to play content and are encouraged to use the Party and Squad channels for that purpose and that purpose alone.

- VII - Attitude & Behavior
In TMQ, we welcome all players from new to experienced. A level of respect is expected towards the guild’s members. In example (but not limited to) members should not:
  • use abusive language towards the guild, its members and players overall
  • rage quit on guild members
  • etcetera

- VIII - Grouping mentality
TMQ does not tolerate any kind of gear-check/kick/elitist mentality and this is immediate ground for disciplinary action if someone is found to be involved with it inside the guild. Some things like Agony Resistance in fractals or equipment type in raids need to be checked due the gameplay necessities, other things like Legendary Insights, DPS or Achievements Points don’t. As long as the check isn't directly related to gameplay necessities, the check is unnecessary and has no place in TMQ.

- IX - DPS Meters
TMQ can’t and won’t forbid DPS meters for personal use. However we don’t condone the usage of DPS meters with group data (the usage of combat data other than your own). As long as members are using DPS meter with personal data only in line with the rules and statements of ArenaNet, it’s okay to use a DPS meter within TMQ.

- X - Recording & Streaming
When recording/streaming we ask you to adhere to and respect a few basic common courtesy guidelines.
  • Please inform all participants in Discord that you wish to Live Stream or Record the event - and ask if anyone has any objections for you to proceed. This especially goes when you have the Discord audio on your stream/recording.
  • When posting the recording publicly (this include unlisted YouTube videos or any other way that the video might be shared) ask if anyone has any objections for you to proceed. This especially goes when you have the Discord audio on your recording.
  • In the event one or more people in the group does not feel comfortable to be live streamed, please do not continue with the stream/recording.
  • Please ensure that Squad/Guild Chat is not visible in the stream/recording - if you wish to include the chat - again please check that there are no objections first.

- XI - Botting & Scamming
TMQ does not tolerate any kind of unfair play. If you use bots or violate the game’s terms of agreements, you will be removed from the guild. Scamming is not condoned! No matter what the scam is, you will be removed from the guild.

- XII - Problems
If you have an issue with another guild member, please bring your issue to one of the members of the guild council (Titan rank). They can investigate the incident and mediate if necessary. Less urgent issues should be resolved via the Guild Oracle forum. If there is something that bothers you but don’t want to contact the management directly, you can use the complaints form to formally notify us about this. We will investigate the matter and take action if needed.
